Spa Etiquette

Whether or not it is your first time going to a spa to receive a treatment, there are some things that you can do to make the experience great for you and the person performing the service. Here are some rules of spa etiquette. 1. Don't show up for your appointment exactly on time. Try to arrive at least 20 minutes early to each appointment. This will allow you enough time to check-in, change and relax. 2. Don't spend your entire spa treatment talking about your problems. This is not the time to focus on stress. Try to enjoy your treatment and relax. 3. Don't work out right before your spa appointment. When you show up all sweaty for your spa appointment, it can be uncomfortable for both you and the therapist. 4. Don't talk on your cell phone in the meditation room, locker room or anywhere in the spa. People come to the spa to relax and being on a cell phone is distracting for you and others around you. 5. Be respectful of the staff. Yes, they are there to perform a service for you but they are not servants.
