Thanksgiving is the beginning of the holiday season. So why not start by thanking yourself first with a wonderful day of massage therapy? Sounds like a plan right? A little guilty pleasure goes a long way. While you are out there starting your holiday shopping, stop in your local spa and give yourself a present too. Schedule an appointment for a massage.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving we gather with loved ones and reminisce about old family stories and traditions. We catch up with those we have not seen in a long time. A big focus of Thanksgiving is all about the food. Its fun sharing recipe’s of old family secrets. Who can resist a juicy turkey and gravy, cranberry dressing, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes, and a variety of pies?
But let us not forget, besides all the food and parties with friends and family, we must give thanks for all of our blessings. So often we take things for granted without even realizing. There are so many people and families struggling during these hard times. Thanksgiving is a good time to pay it forward and show acts of kindness to others less fortunate.
Holiday shopping starts Thanksgiving weekend for many of us. Black Friday deals are a big draw for shopping malls. Now many people are doing more holidays shopping online to save time. Giving a friend a gift certificate for a spa massage is a really nice treat. A mother/daughter day of massage therapy is also a nice gift and you get to go along.
Most of all this holiday season let’s all give thanks for all we have in abundance and share with those less fortunate. Don’t forget your pets too. Did you know that massage therapy is also very good and healing for our pets? Well if you are a dog lover maybe you can appreciate this little tidbit….or at least I made you laugh.
